Xtreme Paintball's Nite League
Xtreme Paintball hosted it's first ever Night League on alternating Thursdays beginning February 28th, 2002 through May 9th, 2002, with the finals winding things up on May 23rd, 2002. 8 teams competed for 6 nights to earn a place in the finals where the top 4 teams battled it out for first-fourth place rankings. This was many of the teams' first speedball tournament experience and major improvments in all teams' "game" was very evident by the 6th night. The most notable improvements were made by the Moffat Rd Baptist Youth Group team who maxed 3 of their games the 6th night, and gave everyone a run for their money. This along with their good natured, low stress attitude won them the Sportsmanship/most improved award. Also of note a player for Shoot to Thrill, who's name I will post as soon as I can get it, had full opportunity to do a nasty bunkering job on another player, but instead purposely shot the players pack. This earned him the individual Sportsmanship award of a case of Severe's Cyclone paint!
